As of yesterday (6th July 2020), Welsh Government guidance to remain within five miles of home/”stay local” has been lifted as cases and fatalities from coronavirus remain contained.
From 11th July, owners and operators of self-contained holiday accommodation can begin to take bookings.
Announcing the plans, Minister for International Relations & Welsh Language, Eluned Morgan (Lab, Mid & West Wales) said: “We ask everyone who travels to and around Wales to enjoy their time here, but always to respect local communities. We are looking forward to welcoming visitors back to Wales – but we want everyone to Visit Wales Safely.”
Additional guidance is in the process of being drafted to allow the safe reopening of those pubs and restaurants which have outdoor spaces/beer gardens from 13th July 2020.
