The Llywydd’s Committee is responsible for overseeing the work and budget of the Electoral Commission in Wales. This work only concerns Senedd, local elections and devolved referendums. 

The role and responsibilities of the Committee are set out in law. Under the Senedd’s rules (Standing Orders), the Chair of the Finance Committee needs to be a member and effectively acts as Deputy Chair.
