Senedd Home was mothballed for five long years because of a lack of support. Don’t let it happen again. This site doesn’t receive any public funding or subsidy. What is the Senedd Points Table?

The Senedd Points Table ranks 94 Members of the Senedd based on their Senedd Service Index points.

You can see a more detailed breakdown of their Senedd Service Index points in their individual profiles. Click on the button with their name in the table below to go there.

Due to their unique roles, which mean they don’t take part in Senedd proceedings in the same way as other members, the Llywydd (Huw Irranca-Davies MS) and Deputy Llywydd (Kerry Ferguson MS) are not included in the table.

The table will be updated every half-term (roughly every 6-8 weeks).

As of 5th September 2026:

Figures don’t include the Llywydd & Deputy Llywydd, or Elfyn Llwyd (Counsel General), and are rounded to one decimal place.

Commentary on the Latest Update (September 2026)

Much like trying to make something out of a football league table at the end of August, you can’t read too much into this right now.

The biggest influence on the rankings as they currently are is the amount of political experience the MS already has and whether they’re a minister or not (meaning a much higher questions score under activity). As a result, a lot of Reform and Plaid Cymru backbenchers feature lower down, while Labour (many of whom have government experience) and long-serving Tory MSs are placed higher up. You would expect that by the next update, government ministers and committee chairs will start climbing the table at a faster rate.

The only incidents of note which have impacted individual scores are the fallout from ill-tempered and poorly argued debates on immigration/Nation of Sanctuary (including a mass walkout/flouncing), and a few instances of Reform MSs voting against their own party’s motions.
